Portal enter/exit screen fx material I made in Unreal 4. Used substance designer to create the textures.
Created Hologram materials in UE4 that could do a pixelated dissolve, highlight, change color and do a world space dissolve when the puzzle needed it.
Created portal mesh, material and particle fx in UE4 using Niagara, Maya and substance designer. This portal was used as the loading screen and the entrance to every level. So it had to be extremely performant to not cause hitches.
